Mid America Rehab's Race Across the River - 2026

Event Overview

Mid America Rehab's Race Across the River! This will be a once in a lifetime experience for the residents of Perry County, Missouri and Randolph County, Illinois. Over the years, we have been fortunate to receive generous sponsorships from our local business community and they have been a huge part of the success and fundraising of this event!

Race Details

• Event Type: 5.4K Run/Walk or push your child in a stroller.
• Registration: Be sure to pick either the Run/Walk or Child in Stroller event to register.
• Date: July 11, 2026
• Location: Horse Island Chute, Perryville, MO

Community Impact

Through the collective efforts of our sponsors and participants, we have already donated an impressive $52,700 for our high school athletic programs. Please know that every dollar of your contribution goes directly to supporting our local athletes and the programs that support them at Perryville High School and St. Vincent High School. This year we are including Chester High School as well as the Perry County schools to receive the proceeds from our race. Your involvement as a participant helps empower young athletes, foster their growth, and makes a lasting impact on the local community.

Course Description

The race course will start on the bridge, take access road towards Hwy 51 on Missouri side, turn around and go back, cross the bridge towards Illinois and then come back to Hwy 51 turn around to finish line on the bridge. MoDOT and Ames Construction has helped with this course to measure it out to be 5k.
