The Great River Road Road Race (GRRRR) is again at Pikes Peak State Park this year.
🏃♂️ Race Details
- Date: 2025-10-04
- Location: Pikes Peak State Park, McGregor, IA
- Certification: Both the 5 and 10K races are USATF-certified and sanctioned.
- Certifications: 5K is certification # IA 24009MF, and the 10K is certification # IA 24008-M.
🏁 Race Course
The chip-timed race will follow the traditional route starting in the park. From the parking lot, runners will follow Pikes Peak Road west to the Great River Road, turn south, and follow the Great River Road out to either the 5 or 10K mark and return on the same route. It will be a fun and fast run with slightly rolling hills.
🏆 Post-Race Celebration
- Awards: After the race, there will be an awards presentation.
- Breakfast: Enjoy a complimentary untraditional pancake breakfast.
