Paws Along the Erie 5K and Festival

Event Overview

Wanderers Rest Human Association Inc. a 501c3 nonprofit animal shelter is excited to host the Paws Along the Erie 5K and Festival to benefit all the animals we care for and support.

Race Details

• Event Type: A friendly and inviting event for all family members— dogs included!
• Course: A scenic out and back run on a flat stone dust trail.
• Participants: Runners and walkers of all kinds are welcome, solo or with leashed furry friends.
• Extras: Registration includes an exclusive WRHA Paws Along the Erie T-Shirt and hydration.

Festival Highlights

• Start Time: 8:30 am, allowing participants to cool off after the race.
• Activities: Extra visits with some of our animals and wonderful vendors.
• Food: Enjoy a bite to eat and peruse vendor booths.
• Location: Explore all that the Canal Boat Museum has to offer!

Dog Participation Guidelines

We kindly ask that if you are participating in the race or attending the festival in any capacity with your canine friend to please ensure:

• Friendliness: Dogs must be friendly and leashed at all times.
• Health: They are up to date on their rabies vaccination.
• Proof: Dogs participating in the events will be required to show proof of updated rabies vaccination upon check-in.
• Understanding: Thank you for your understanding.

Pricing: $25 opening week— $30 from then until race day $35.
