Lace up for a great cause! Experience the natural beauty and historic grounds of Hagley Museum at the 8th Annual 5K/1K Run/Walk.

- Time: 5K starts at 8:30am, followed by the 1K Fun Run at 9:00am

About the Race
Run or walk along the picturesque Brandywine River and through 235 acres of stunning landscape. It’s a perfect event for families and fitness enthusiasts, as well as history and nature lovers!
- Purpose: Every step supports the Hagley Field Trip Fund.
- Impact: Provides underserved students a vital, educational visit to the museum.
- Goal: Help us raise $4500 in 2026.
- Participants: No age requirement for either event.

Bib Pick-Up and Check-In
Day of event starting at 7:30am in front of the Hagley Library.
Refer a Friend
After registering, you will receive a unique URL to share with family and friends to encourage them to register. Post it on social media. After five friends register using your unique URL, you will receive a $10 discount off your 5K fee OR a $5 discount off your 1K fee.

Overall Male/Female
Top 3 Male/Female in each age group:
- 14 and under
- 15-19
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60-69
- 70 and older
An awards ceremony will take place around 9:30 near the finish line.
Post-Race Opportunities
Hagley Museum opens at 10am, so stay and explore the historic powder yards, first du Pont family home, and gardens. Your registration fee gives you free admission to Hagley for the two weeks following the 5K/1K (through May 10, 2026).
