2027 Sunflower Relay, Half Marathon and Marathon

Race Overview

The Sunflower Relay, Half, and Full Trail Marathon is an incredible opportunity to run through some of the most spectacular fields of wildflowers in the Methow Valley. Portions of the trail travel through private property that can only be accessed during this event, giving runners of all ages and abilities the opportunity to experience the carpeted sunflower-filled meadows that connect the towns of Mazama and Twisp. Run either as an individual in the half or full marathon or form a team of 2-5 members.

This race sells out every year, so please register early!

Relay Teams

• Team Composition: Relay teams cannot add members once the relay is sold out.
• Payment: Captains must pay the entire fee upon registration.
• Team Information: If you do not know the members of your team when you register, you can add that information later. You must enter an email address and the entry will be listed as “pending”.
• Management: This option allows team captains to invite and remove team members without having to contact the race director.
• Kids Entry: Kids 17 and under are free, but there is a limit of 3 entries per team.

Cancellations and Refunds

We highly recommend purchasing registration insurance through RunReg. Methow Trails will issue refunds, -$50 cancellation fee, before March 15th. There are NO refunds after March 15th. Transfers are allowed until March 25th.
