Night Owl 5K

Race Overview

The excitement of competition paired with the thrill of the trails at night make our Night Owl 5K a race to remember! Night Owl 5K starts and finishes at the Lake Haigler entrance, so participants and spectators may order food and drinks from the restaurant, Gateway Canteen, shop for gear and memberships in the visitor center and enjoy popular Greenway trails!

Hike Challenge

• Option: Don't want to run - then choose the Hike Challenge.
• Experience: The Hike Challenge offers the same opportunity to experience the 5K course at night but without being timed.

Dress Code

Come dressed in your favorite winter pajamas or holiday fun outfit. A prize will be given for the top 3 best holiday outfits!

• Early Packet Pickup: Thursday December 10 - 4pm to 6pm at Greenway Gateway, 2576 Lake Haigler Drive, Fort Mill, SC 29715
• Race Day: Friday December 11
• Packet Pickup: 6pm
• Live Music: 6pm to 9pm
• 5K Race Starts: 7:30pm
• Hike Challenge Starts: 7:35pm
• 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk Starts: 7:40pm
• Awards: 8:30pm
• Event Ends: 9pm

5K MALE/FEMALE categories: <:19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Refunds & Weather Policy

• Registration: Race registration is non-refundable.
• Transfers: More than two weeks out you may transfer your race registration to another competitor or to another Greenway race of equal or lesser value. All transfers are at the discretion of the Race Director.
• Weather: Our events run rain or shine unless there is severe weather.
• Cancelation: Should we cancel due to severe weather, you will be notified via social media, our website, and email. No refunds will be issued in case of cancelation.
