Night Owl 5K, Hike Challenge and Fun Run

The excitement of competition paired with the thrill of the trails at night make our Night Owl 5K a race to remember! Come dressed in your favorite winter pajamas or festive holiday outfit - a prize will be given for the top 3 best-dressed! The Night Owl 5K starts and finishes at the Lake Haigler entrance, so participants and spectators may order food and drinks from the restaurant, Greenway Canteen, shop for gear and memberships in the visitor center and enjoy popular Greenway trails!

• Experience: Don't want to run but still want the experience? Choose the Hike Challenge!
• Opportunity: The Hike Challenge offers the same opportunity to experience the 5K course at night but without being timed.

Fun Run/Walk

Get in on the race night fun with a 1-mile, untimed trail run/walk. Enjoy the nighttime trail atmosphere without the pressure of competition. The Fun Run/Walk starts and finishes alongside the 5K, so participants and spectators can enjoy everything the Night Owl experience has to offer.

• Prize: Fun Run/Walk participants will receive a finisher's prize at the finish line to celebrate their achievement.

• 6:00p: Packet pick up | Live music starts
• 7:30p: 5K starts
• 7:35p: Hike Challenge starts
• 7:40p: 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk starts
• 8:30p: Award ceremony
• 9:00p: Event finishes

Awards

• Top 3 Overall Male and Female 5k: Recognition for the best overall performance.
• Top 3 Male and Female Age Groups 5k: Age categories include 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.

Refunds & Weather Policy

• Non-refundable: Race registration is non-refundable.
• Transfer Policy: More than two weeks out you may transfer your race registration to another competitor or to another Greenway race of equal or lesser value.
• Weather Conditions: Our events run rain or shine unless there is severe weather.
• Cancellation Notification: Should we cancel you will be notified via social media, our website, and email. Should we cancel there will be no refunds as that money has already been put toward the race.
