Course Description
- Course Type: 5k out and back loop on a beautiful tree-lined asphalt trail.
- Location: The trail loops back into "Tent City" for easy access to gear.
- Distance Variations: All distances will follow the same route.
- Event Management: Managed by Sombrero Running Events known for hospitality.
Race Options
- 12/6/3 Hour Distances: Run/walk as many 5k loops in the allotted time frame.
- 5k Ultra: Complete 5k loops starting at the top of each hour for 10 hours.
- 12 Hour Relay: Team of 4-6, run in any order without loop restrictions.
- Team Communication: Team captains must ensure all teammates have signed a waiver.
Awards and Recognition
- Participant Gifts: Custom made medals and shirts for all participants.
- Overall Awards: Top 3 awards for each event and distance.
- Age Group Awards: Top 3 for 5k distances, with 1st place for every 10 year age group minimum.
- Special Awards: Randomly given out plus the Slow A$$ award for DFL participants.
