• History: Started in 2016 as a six marathons in six days point to point relay.

Mission and Impact

• Support: Raised money and awareness to support pediatric patients and their families.
• Funds Raised: $2.25 million for the North Florida Medical Legal Partnership.
• New Initiative: Shelter for Elders to enhance civil legal aid for indigent seniors.
• Goal: To continue serving communities in Northeast Florida.

Course Description

• Course Type: 5k out and back loop on a beautiful tree-lined asphalt trail.
• Location: The trail loops back into "Tent City" for easy access to gear.
• Distance Variations: All distances will follow the same route.
• Event Management: Managed by Sombrero Running Events known for hospitality.

Race Options

• 12/6/3 Hour Distances: Run/walk as many 5k loops in the allotted time frame.
• 5k Ultra: Complete 5k loops starting at the top of each hour for 10 hours.
• 12 Hour Relay: Team of 4-6, run in any order without loop restrictions.
• Team Communication: Team captains must ensure all teammates have signed a waiver.

Awards and Recognition

• Participant Gifts: Custom made medals and shirts for all participants.
• Overall Awards: Top 3 awards for each event and distance.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 for 5k distances, with 1st place for every 10 year age group minimum.
• Special Awards: Randomly given out plus the Slow A$$ award for DFL participants.
