Mariachi 5k Run and Fiesta

Join the Mariachi 5k Run and its Fiesta!

• Dress Up: Grab your Charro Traje, sarape, Mexican sombrero, maracas, and folklore skirt!
• Bring Instruments: Bring your trumpet and guitar to play along with the mariachis on the run course.
• Entertainment: La Pacific Blvd will be alive with three mariachi bands, cheering squads, and DJ music to keep you moving.
• Post-Race Celebration: Stick around after crossing the finish line for a fiesta featuring a costume contest, live music, games, and more.

In celebration of its 120th anniversary, the City of Huntington Park is hosting the 1st Annual Mariachi 5K Run / Walk on September 19, 2026, at 8:00 AM, which also includes a 1K run specifically for kids.

Event Details and Schedule

Note: Chip timing is optional and incurs an additional cost.

• Registration Opens: 6:00 AM
• 5k Race Starts: 8:00 AM
• 1k Kids Run: 9:00 AM
• Late Registration: Closes at 7:30 AM for the 5k and at 8:30 AM for the 1k run.
