Event Overview
The 2nd Annual Rock the Climb - 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb returns to the iconic Hard Rock Guitar Hotel in Hollywood, Florida, on September 11, 2026. This powerful event serves as a solemn tribute to the heroes lost on September 11, 2001, inviting participants to ascend the hotel’s stairs in a display of remembrance and solidarity. Hosted by the Firefighters Benevolent of Davie in partnership with the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the climb honors the ultimate sacrifice of first responders while raising critical funds for the Gary Sinise Foundation and the Firefighters Benevolent of Davie.
Inclusivity of Participants
- Diverse Group: The event is designed to be inclusive, welcoming a diverse group of participants.
- Firefighters: Participants can include firefighters in full turnout gear or athletic wear.
- Climb Options: Choose from a 110 story climb, 72 story climb, or 36 story climb.
- Team or Individual: Whether as a personal feat or as a team, every climber contributes to a collective effort to "never forget."

- Comprehensive Race Package: All participants will receive a race package upon registration and completion.
- Personalized Bib: Includes a personalized race bib with an RFID timing chip for accurate tracking.
