High Uinta Half Marathon

Race Overview

High Uinta Half Marathon is a fast race above Kamas/Francis area. We reluctantly use the term Drop13 because of what it represents.

Course Details

• Course Profile: This course is 99% decline for 13.1 Miles.
• Elevation Drop: 2600 feet of decline with very little incline or even flat portions.
• Scenic Route: This course is not just fast but beautiful.
• Surroundings: Aspens, pines, rivers, are throughout the route.

Starting Point

This route starts at one of the highest elevations in Utah for races. Last year July 4, the starting point still had snow all around.

Race Experience

This is a great course to get out of the heat and enjoy more of a Spring race in the heart of summer.
