About this race
Race Overview
The Home Run 5k and 1M Fun Run will be held in beautiful Americus, Georgia. The route begins at Americus First Methodist Church and winds through historic homes in the neighborhood. Every dollar raised by this event directly benefits the Americus Campus of The Methodist Home. This race is being held in memory of a friend of the home, Jay Williams.
Participant Experience
- T-shirts: Each participant will receive a t-shirt.
- Snacks: Snacks will be provided at the finish line, as supplies last.
- Finisher's Medals: Available to all children under 14 and as requested for adults, while supplies last.
Age Group Categories
- Categories: 0-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
- Awards: First, second, and third overall male and female will be recognized.
- Master's Awards: First master's overall male and female will also be acknowledged.
- Art Awards: All winners will receive a special piece of artwork created by our girls at the Methodist Home.
Packet Pickup
Packet Pickup will take place at the church (Americus First Methodist Church) on race day beginning at 6:30am and concluding at 7:45am.
