Honor Our Heroes 5k Memorial Run

Race Overview

We are very proud to announce the 10th Annual Honor Our Heroes Memorial Event!

Oldsmar Cares is a for-impact 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that operates solely on the support of volunteers and donors. Serving the local community since 1997, we offer assistance as a food pantry, clothing closet, and other essentials, such as temporary rent and utility assistance, to those facing difficult times while keeping families together.

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, 23 May 2026
• Location: 101 State St E, Oldsmar, FL 34677
• Collaborators: Collaboration with the All-American VFW Post 12186 in Oldsmar.
• Purpose: All net proceeds will support our efforts to serve residents, families, veterans, and community projects.

Race Options

The opening ceremonies will begin at 7:00 am near Oldsmar City Hall. The race will start at 7:15 am, and the participants will be led down past the Veterans Memorial Park and along the beautiful waters of upper Tampa Bay. These are all designed for everyone, from competitive runners to casual joggers, pet walkers, and even some pushing their strollers. The finish line will greet our finishers with beverages and food for everyone.

• The 5k: 3.1 miles, certified by USA Track & Field.
• The 1 Mile: A beautiful stroll down Park Boulevard with shade trees and water bowls.
• The Virtual: For those who can't attend in person. Participants receive a race shirt, bib, and challenge coin.

Awards

Along with your race shirts and stuffed swag bags, we will also present awards for the overall Male & Female winners. As well as the top 3 finishers in each age bracket of the 5k. Brackets include ages 9 and under, then every five-year increment up to 70 and over.

Discounts

Military, Police, Fire, EMT, and Student discounts are available during checkout. Please contact us for group rates for 10 or more participants.

Your Race Packets

Come to Tampa Bay Brewing Company (TBBC) to pick up your race shirt, bib numbers, event promotions, and more.

Please note: It can be challenging to pick up packets on race day. Please take advantage of TBBC's early pickup unless you are traveling from out of town. There is a limited opportunity to sign up on the morning of race day, but we cannot guarantee swag bags or race shirts.
