We are very proud to announce the 10th Annual Honor Our Heroes 5k Memorial Run!

About Oldsmar Cares

• Organization: Oldsmar Cares is a for-impact 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
• Service: Serving the local community since 1997, we provide food, clothing, and essentials.
• Support: Operates solely on the support of volunteers and donors.
• Mission: Helping those facing difficult times and keeping families together.

Event Details

• Date: On Saturday, 23 May 2026, in recognition of Memorial Day.
• Collaboration: Continuing our partnership with the All-American VFW Post 12186.
• Community Focus: All net proceeds will support efforts to serve residents, families, veterans, and community projects.
• Afterparty: Featuring sponsors like Tampa Bay Brewing Company (TBBC) and Three Brothers NY Pizza.

The Race

• Ceremony Start: The opening ceremonies begin at 7:00 am near Oldsmar City Hall.
• Race Start: The race starts at 7:15 am.
• Route: Led down past the Veterans Memorial Park along upper Tampa Bay.
• Participation: Open to everyone from competitive runners to casual joggers, pet walkers, and stroller pushers.

USATF Certification

• Certification: 2026 Reevaluated and certified by USA Track & Field.
• Cert Number: CL25009JK.
• Recognition: Recognized by the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA).

Awards

Along with your race shirts and stuffed swag bags, we will also present awards for:

• Overall: Male & Female winners.
• Age Brackets: Top 3 finishers in each age bracket.
• Brackets: Ages 9 and under, then every five-year increment up to 70 and over.

• Available: Military, Police, Fire, EMT, and Student discounts during checkout.
• Group Rates: Contact us for group rates for 10 or more participants.

Your Race Packets

Pick up your race shirt, bib numbers, event promotions, and more during the following times:

• Date: 21 May Thursday from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
• Date: 22 May Friday from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
• Location: TBBC on Racetrack Road at 13937 Monroes Business Park, Tampa, FL 33635.

• Timing: Chipped Timing Bib.
• Shirts: Official Race Shirts (Order while supplies last).

Important Notices

• Packet Pickup: It can be challenging on race day: utilize early pickup unless traveling from out of town.
• Day Of Registration: Limited opportunity on race day: cannot guarantee swag bags or shirts.
