About this race
Door County’s first trail run invites runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to choose a 2K, 5K, or 10K route at Crossroads at Big Creek Nature Preserve on June 12, 2027. Chip timing will support staggered starts by distance, with the 10K beginning at 8:00 a.m., followed by the 5K approximately ten minutes later, and the 2K shortly after that. The awards ceremony will begin around 9:45 am.
Packet pick-up is Wednesday, June 9 – Thursday, June 10 from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, Friday, June 11 from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, and Saturday, June 13 from 6:30 - 7:30 am at the Collins Learning Center. To reserve your t-shirt, registration must be made by May 19, 2027. Participants who register after May 19, 2027, may opt to choose from a selection of previous year's race shirts.
All proceeds benefit Crossroads at Big Creek.
Three course options: 2k, 5k, and 10k
All participants receive a native tree, courtesy of Evergreen Nursery Co. and post-race snacks, including bananas, granola bars, and a cherry sundae with cherries from Lautenbach's Orchard Country Winery & Market and granola from Kick Ash Products.

Proceeds from the Crossroads Trail Run directly support Crossroads' mission to inspire environmental stewardship in learners of all ages and from all backgrounds through education, research, restoration and outdoor experiences.

Bikes, Spikes & Dogs
Bikes, shoes with spikes, and dogs are not allowed on the course during the race. As always, dogs are allowed on the property but must always be on a leash.
Aid Stations
There will be two water stations on the 5k route and three water stations on the 10k route.
Train with a club
Run clubs near Sturgeon Bay to train with before race day.
