The Ultra & Distance Day
The Big Bastrop Backyard Ultra
- Start: 7:00 AM | Cutoff: 32 hours
- Distance: 4.17-mile loop, up to 24 loops (~100 miles)
- Format: Last Person Standing with cumulative time tiebreaker.
- Field Cap: 70 runners.
Last Rucker Standing
- Start: 7:00 AM
- Loop: 5.1 km (Loblolly Loop)
- Max Duration: 32 hours
- Weight: 30 lbs for men, 20 lbs for women.
Autumn Harvest 50K
- Start: 8:00 AM | Cutoff: 10 hours
- Format: Three full out-and-backs on scenic North-South Trailway.
- Support: Aid stations every 2.5 miles.
- Access: Drop bag access every 10 miles.
Autumn Harvest 20-Miler
- Start: 8:00 AM
- Distance: 20 miles
- Format: Two full out-and-backs on the North-South Trailway.
- Support: Aid stations every 2.5 miles.
Autumn Harvest 10-Miler
- Start: 8:00 AM
- Distance: 10 miles
- Format: One full out-and-back on the North-South Trailway.
- Experience: The sweet spot between a 10K and half marathon.
Autumn Harvest 5-Miler
- Start: 8:15 AM
- Distance: 5 miles
- Route: Out-and-back on the first 2.5 miles of the North-South Trailway.
- Experience: Welcoming for first-time trail runners.

The Marathon & Community Day
Autumn Harvest Marathon
- Start: 9:00 AM | Cutoff: 9 hours
- Format: Two laps on the North-South Trailway.
- Support: Aid stations every 2.5 miles.
- Environment: Lakeside trail alongside the forest.
Autumn Harvest Half Marathon
- Start: 9:00 AM
- Distance: Generous half-marathon-plus.
- Support: Two distinct trail experiences.
- Course: 1× North-South full loop + Gideon Loop.
Autumn Harvest 10K
- Start: 9:15 AM
- Distance: 10K showcasing scenic sections.
- Format: Full Gideon Loop + Loblolly Loop.
- Course: More variety per mile than any other event.
Autumn Harvest 5K
- Start: 9:15 AM
- Format: Short, out-and-back.
- Experience: Perfect for beginners.
- Fun: Bring the kids and friends.
The Course
Scenic Trails
All events traverse the trails of Lake Bastrop, mainly the North-South Trailway with rolling terrain and a dynamic mix of trails. Enjoy vibrant autumn colors and serene forest settings.
