I Got Your Six Walk/Run

👟 Event Overview

Lace up your shoes for this annual event and get ready to be part of a great cause while helping bring awareness to the risks police officers face every day. I Got Your Six Run/Walk was organized in memory of Bradley Police Department’s Sgt. Marlene Rittmanic and in honor of Officer Tyler Bailey.

🏃‍♂️ Participants and Options

• Variety of Options: We offer a 10K run, 5K run, 2-mile walk, as well as a virtual option, if you cannot make it on-site the day of the event.
• Dog-Friendly: As tribute to Marlene’s love of dogs, participants can register their dog to run/walk with them.
• Race Gear: Participants will be provided with an I Got Your Six race shirt and race medal.
• Special Treat for Dogs: Registered dogs will receive a custom race handkerchief to wear during the race.

🎓 Scholarship Funds

All proceeds from this event will be used to fund two Kankakee Community College Law Enforcement Scholarships in each officer’s name.

📍 Location

I Got Your Six run/walk will be held at Perry Farm Park located in Kankakee County, IL. Perry Farm Park offers a smooth paved path that winds through natural prairie, woods and riverfront access.
