About this race
Event Overview
This event is held in loving memory and honor of my mother, Sebrenia Russaw, who was tragically lost due to domestic violence murder-suicide. Through this walk/run, we continue her legacy by creating a space of hope, healing, strength, and awareness.
Purpose
- Honor Survivors: We walk and run to honor survivors of domestic violence and their loved ones.
- Community Impact: This event serves the families, friends, and communities who have been impacted by their journeys.
- Raise Awareness: We aim to create awareness around the issues of domestic violence.
- Celebrate Strength: Recognizing the courage, resilience, and strength of survivors is at the heart of this event.
