Event Overview

Join us for the Red, White & Run 5K on October 17, 2026 as we celebrate America’s 250th Anniversary with a fun-filled community event for all ages! Held before the Halifax County Community Harvest Days festivities, this patriotic race welcomes kids, adults, runners, and walkers to participate together.

Whether you are racing to the finish line or enjoying a casual walk with family and friends, this event is a great way to come together as a community while promoting health, wellness, and recreation. Funds raised from the event will directly support youth and recreation opportunities throughout Halifax County. Grab your red, white, and blue and join us for a morning of fun, fitness, and community spirit!

Registration Fees

• Early Entry Fee: Aug 1st- Adults (18 and up) $30 kids (5 and up)- $15
• Regular Fee: Adults (18 and up) $45 kids (5 and up)- $20

Awards

• Top Overall Male
• Top Overall Female
• Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female finishers in each age division: 10 & Under, 11–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60+
• Patriotic spirit recognition for participants dressed in red, white, and blue.

Giveaway

All registered participants for the Red, White & Run 5K will receive a commemorative race giveaway item while supplies last. Current plans include:

• Event T-Shirt featuring the Red, White & Run 5K and America’s 250th celebration theme
• Registration Deadline: To guarantee a race shirt and requested size, participants must register no later than October 1, 2026. Registrations received after October 1st may still receive a shirt: however, sizes and availability cannot be guaranteed.
