18th Annual Gobbler Gallop Trail Run/Walk 1 Mile

Event Overview

A fun Thanksgiving morning race that has become a family tradition for families in the Saginaw Valley Area. The 5k course is a single loop on a beautiful, wooded trail along the scenic Tittabawassee River. The 1m Youth Run is a Single loop in the back of the park.

Cost and Registration

• Online Registration:
• $5: per participant until 10/31
• $10: per participant 11/1 through 11/21
• $20: per participant 11/22 through 11/25
• Race Day Registration:
• Occurs from 8:00 - 9:00 am at the pavilion at the back of the park
• $20: cost per participant on race day

Race Shirt Information

Race shirts can be added on to each registration for an extra $10 charge. Shirts will not be guaranteed after 11/1. Once again, this year the shirts will be a long sleeve moisture wicking shirt.

Important Dates

• Pre-Race Day Bib/Shirt Pickup: 11/25 at the Saginaw Runners Athletic Company Store from 4:00 - 6:00 pm
• Location: Runners Athletic Company, 4605 Bay Rd. Saginaw, MI 48604
• Race Day Registration/Bib Pickup: Begins at 8:00 am
• Race Schedule:
• 1 mile youth (k-8th) trail run at 9:00 am
• 5K trail run and walk at 9:20 am

Race Features

• No Frills: No age group awards, but an accurately measured course
• Timed Race: Results provided, and custom finisher medals to the top 5 finishers per gender in each race
• Winners: Individual male and female winners of the 5k Run, 5k Walk, and 1 Mile Run will each receive either a pumpkin or apple pie
• Costume Contest: Come dressed in Thanksgiving costume for extra fun... rumor has it there will be at least one big turkey!

ALL proceeds benefit the Hawks Running Club LLC, supporting the youth running movement in the Saginaw Township Area!
