Description

• Purpose: A race through Depot Park that raises money for the Humane Society, a Gainesville-based, 501(c)(3) no-kill shelter.
• Mission: Committed to ending the needless euthanasia of healthy, treatable pets.
• Events: Join students and the Gainesville community to celebrate UF Homecoming and Gator Growl’s commitment to charity.
• Participants: Families of all ages are welcome and encouraged to join the Chomp for Charity 5k!

Event Details

• Venue: First Magnitude Brewing Company, a beloved location in Gainesville.
• Registration: Opens on July 20th and closes on September 16th at 4:00 pm.
• Teams: Groups will be paired with animals from the Humane Society to run for.
• Prizes: Participants who place in the top 3 in either group (men and women) will receive a prize.

Registration Information

• Day of Registration: Accepted with a price increase of $5 for all individuals.
