Soar with the Eagles 5k and 1 Mile Eagle Dash

To a fun, family friendly 5k & 1 mile Eagle Dash or "The Double Wing Challenge" and participate in both the 5k & 1 mile.

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026
• Location: Gallup Park (Ann Arbor, MI)
• Distances:
• 5k: "Soar with the Eagles"
• 1-Mile: "Eagle Dash"

Or run both in "The Double Wing Challenge."

Schedule

• 8:00 AM: Packet pickup & bib distribution (Gallup Park under the Fast Shelter)
• 9:00 AM: 1 Mile Eagle Dash start
• 9:30 AM: 5k start

Registration & Logistics

• Early-bird: registration now until September 5 includes discounted price + T-shirt
• Packet Pickup: Beginning at 8:00 AM on race day at the FAST Shelter (located near the Gallup Park Playground)
• Parking: Available near the Gallup Park Playground
• Race Timing: Both events will be professionally chip timed by A2 Race Management

Prizes & Awards

• 5k: Male/Female overall champions + Top 2 Male/Female in age groups: 8 and under, 9-12, 13-16, 17-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
• 1 Mile Eagle Dash: Male/Female overall champions + Top 2 Male/Female in age groups: 5 and under, 6-8, 9-12, 13-16, 17+

Beneficiary

Proceeds will benefit the Ann Arbor Christian School Running Club.
