Rock the Boat 5K

Race Overview

SYC Rock the Boat is a 5K (3.1 mile) Run/Walk near Cozy Harbor on Southport Island, Maine. Southport Yacht Club families, sailing program families and community members are encouraged to participate. Pick up your race t-shirt and bib on the deck at SYC on Friday, August 1 from 9:00-10:00 am or 3:00-5:00 pm. If you can't make it on Friday, we will have your shirt and bib ready on Saturday morning.

Important Information

• Minimum Participants: We reserve the right to cancel the race and refund participants if we don't have a minimum of 100 participants.
• Strollers: Strollers and babies are welcome.
• Refund Policy: No refunds will be given for any reason.
• Weather Policy: The race will be held regardless of the weather.

Logistics

• Parking: Please walk or ride bikes to the race as parking is limited.
• Timing: The race will be professionally timed by Randy Easter/Bart Timing of Auburn.
• Day of Registration Fee: There is an added $10 fee per registration on the day of.

Proceeds and Discounts

• Beneficiary: Race proceeds will benefit the Southport Junior Yacht Club Sailing Foundation.
• Discounts: If you have a coupon, the discounted price won't show until you are ready to pay.
