🤝 About the Race

• Organizer: The Jefferson Healthcare Rhody Run is organized and produced by the Port Townsend Marathon Association, a charitable non-profit organization whose mission is to foster and encourage runners of all ages, both in the school system and in the community at large.
• Volunteers: Nearly all the work that goes into making this race happen is done by volunteers.
• Community Support: Proceeds from the Jefferson Healthcare Rhody Run are returned to the community in the form of funding support for school sports programs and youth-oriented non-profit organizations.
• Inclusivity: Our goal is to produce a run where all runners, champion and beginner alike, can feel as if it’s their race.

🏆 Awards

• Custom Medals: PORT TOWNSEND FOUNDRY CRAFTED MEDALS awarded to the TOP 3 10k WOMEN/MEN in USATF STANDARD 5 YEAR AGE GROUPS.
• Age Groups: Categories include: UNDER 14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, 95-100.

🏅 Exciting News

This year’s event has been designated by Pacific Northwest Track & Field as a road championship for members of the Pacific Northwest Association of USATF in the Open division and Masters divisions in 5-year increments, 40-44, etc.

• Eligibility: A runner must be a PNTF/USATF member prior to race day to be eligible for championship prize money and other championship awards.
• Age Determination: A runner’s age on the day of the race determines his/her age division.
• Prize Money: In the Open division, prize money will be awarded to the top 3 PNTF/USATF finishers, male and female, who finish in the top 5 of the event’s overall Open division.
• Amount: Prize money amounts are $300, $200, and $100 once USATF membership has been verified.

Masters Divisions: Prize money in the masters divisions will be awarded to the first PNTF/USATF member in each 5-year division 40+ who places in the top 5 of the event’s Masters divisions: $100.
