📍 Race Location

• Venue: The Rhody Run will take place at Fort Worden State Park, Port Townsend, Washington.
• Parking: Additional parking and shuttle service will be available from the Jefferson County Fairgrounds (4907 Landes St, Port Townsend, WA 98368).

🎉 About the Event

• Organizer: The Jefferson Healthcare Rhody Run is organized and produced by the Port Townsend Marathon Association, a charitable non-profit organization.
• Community Focus: Nearly all aspects of this event are made possible by volunteers, and proceeds support school sports programs and youth-oriented nonprofit organizations.
• Inclusivity: Our goal is to produce a race where all runners—champion and beginner alike—feel that it is their race.
• Motto: We strive to live up to our long-standing motto: “The Run That Cares for the Runner.”

📏 Courses

• Distances: 12K & 5K courses
• Maps: Updated 2026 course maps are available on the registration page.

🚗 Parking & Transportation (Important)

• Pass Required: Parking at Fort Worden requires a valid Washington State Parks Discover Pass.
• Restrictions: Parking at Fort Worden is limited.
• Alternative Parking: Additional parking is available at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. Shuttle service will be provided between the Fairgrounds and Fort Worden.
• Shuttle Schedule: Morning Shuttles: 7:30 AM – 8:45 AM: Return: 10:45 AM – 12:00 PM. The Fairgrounds are approximately ½ mile from Fort Worden, and participants may choose to walk to the start area.

🎟️ Packet Pickup

• Dates: Friday & Saturday, May 15–16: Jefferson Healthcare (location and times TBA)
• Race Day: Pickup at Parade Grounds at Fort Worden

🥇 Awards & Championships

• Medals: Custom Port Townsend Foundry medals will be awarded to the top three (3) finishers in each USATF 5-year age group for men and women in the 12K.
• Age Groups: Under 14, 15–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, 75–79, 80–84, 85–89, 90–94, 95–100.
• Championship Designation: The 2026 Jefferson Healthcare Rhody Run has been designated by Pacific Northwest Track & Field as a Road Championship event for members in both the Open and Masters divisions.
• Eligibility: Runners must be current PNTF/USATF members prior to race day to be eligible for championship awards and prize money.

💰 Prize Money

• Open Division: Top three (3) PNTF/USATF finishers (male and female) who place in the top five overall: $300 / $200 / $100
• Masters Divisions (40+): First PNTF/USATF finisher in each 5-year age group who places in the top five of the Masters division: $100
