Event Overview
What better way to welcome August than with a summer sendoff cross country event! This will be hosted at the incredible LCU Cross Country course, the same course where the Big 12 Championship and NCAA regionals have been run!
Race Details
- Date: 2026-08-01
- Location: 2611 Frankford Ave, Lubbock, TX
- Races Offered: Three races will be held.
- Proceeds: 100% of the proceeds from this event will go towards our Lubbock Area Elementary Running program.
Race Categories
- 3 Mile Race: Open to all ages 12+.
- Open 1 Mile Race: For all ages and ability levels (even walkers!).
- Kids 1 Mile Race: Exclusively for children age 11 and under.

Course Information
- 3 Mile Course: The race will start with the green loop around the lake, followed by the final 2 miles.
- 1 Mile Course: Starting next to the finish arch, it will consist of 1 loop around the lake (the green line).
