About this race
Event Overview
Welcome to the Black Mountain Turkey Burner Trail Race. The most technical trail race on the ERS' Sunshine Series schedule.
Join us Saturday November 28, 2026, for the 10th Annual event and burn off all that turkey (or tofurkey) you may have consumed over the holiday.
Race Details
- Location: Black Mountain Community Park
- Half Marathon: Major "hill" climbing on technical trails
- 10K and 5K: Less technical, more groomed dirt trail with solid climbing
- Runner Limit: Limited to 300 runners due to new park guidelines, early signup recommended
