Welcome to Black Mountain Turkey Burner Trail Race
The most technical trail race on the ERS' Sunshine Series schedule.

- Date: November 28, 2026
- Location: 14700 Carmel Valley Rd, San Diego, CA
- Annual Event: Join us for the 10th Annual event and burn off all that turkey (or tofurkey) you may have consumed over the holiday.

Race Courses
- Start/Finish: All runners will start and finish at the Black Mountain Community Park.
- Half Marathon: Experience some major "hill" climbing on very technical trails.
- 10K and 5K: Feature less technical and more groomed dirt trails, with some solid climbing.
- Sign Up Early: This event will sell out early, so please sign up early!
Participation Limits
- Runner Limit: Due to new park guidelines, this event is limited to 300 runners.
- Registration: Make sure to secure your spot before it fills up!
- Carpooling: CARPOOLING IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
- ERS Championship Qualifier: This event is an ERS Championship Qualifier for all race categories.
