Doughnut Dash 5km

Event Overview

The 6th annual DOUGHNUT DASH 5km and KIDS 1KM will take place on November 15, 2026, at 80 Harbour Front Dr, Hamilton, ON.

Race Information

• Kids 800m: starts at 9:55 AM
• 5km: starts at 10:00 AM
• Race Day Registration: Available - Cash only
• Course: A different loop at Bayfront Park, then out and back 1 mile on the waterfront trail

Course Details

• Accuracy: The course is accurately measured and flat!
• Certification: It's a certified course but the certification has expired.
• Viewability: Friends and family can see you start, at 1300m and the finish line!
• Support: GRANDADS DOUGHNUTS is our official sponsor, providing freshly baked doughnuts nearby.

Swag and Prizes

• Doughnuts: Provided by GRANDADS, baked daily!
• Energy Bars: Hornby organic energy bars will be available.
• Finisher Medals: Awesome looking medals for all participants in both races.
• Shirts: Available for those who register before October 31st; limited availability on race day.

Awards and Ceremony

• Age Groups: 5 year age groups with top 3 in each category (19+ through 70+).
• Overall Awards: Top 3 overall male and female winners.
• Award Distribution: Awards will be given out only at the ceremony; no mailing.
• Timing: Awards ceremony expected to start by 11:15 - 11:30 AM.

Logistics

• Kit Pick Up: Race day at Macassa Yacht Club from 8:15 AM to 9:30 AM.
• Restrooms: Available at the yacht club and two porta potties in the parking lot.
• Draw Prizes: Over 20 prizes, each valued over $50!
• Chip Timing: Accurate timing for all participants.
