What is Run For Newmarket?

• Organizer: Organized by Mercy 4 Mankind, a subsidiary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA).
• Purpose: To raise funds for South Lake Regional Health Center in Newmarket.
• Goal: Support the local community by bringing people together for a noble cause.
• Participants: The Run brings out serious and casual runners and walkers from all walks of life.

Event Details:

• Location: Fairy Lake Park, 520 Water St, Newmarket
• Event Date: Sunday, Oct 4th, 2026
• Registration starts: 8:00 am
• Opening session: 9:00 am

• 3K/5K starts: 9:30 am
• 1K starts: 9:35 am
• Closing session: 10:15 am

Distance:

1K Family Fun Walk, 3K Run, 5K Run.

Event Options:

• 5K Run: $45 (Includes Free T-shirt)
• 3K Run: $35 (Includes Free T-shirt)
• 1K Fun Walk: Free (T-shirt not included; available for purchase at $25)

5K Run

Challenge yourself as a runner! Run for Newmarket is the premiere run in the Newmarket area for professional runners. Your energy fuels the noble cause that will shape the future of Newmarket.

3K Run

Come in groups, sprint alone, or make it a family goal. Especially suited for first-time runners that aim to make a difference with their 3K endeavor. We will support you all along the way and build your confidence for the 5K run for next year.

1K Fun Walk

We welcome everyone to join in and walk to support the South Lake Regional Health Centre. Let’s walk together at Fairy Lake Park for our hospital!
