Paddy's 5K

Who does the race benefit and who does it honor?

• Beneficiaries: Our race benefits the young girls of Cambridge.
• Primary Recipients: The Cambridge Girls Softball League and other girls' sports teams are the primary recipients of the funds from the race.
• Focus: These great organizations work on team building, athletic skills, and strengthen the connection among physical, mental and social well-being of girls.
• Impact: We've raised over $130,000 for girls' sports in Cambridge!

Post-Race Block Party

• Event: After the race, there will be a block party outside Paddy's until 7PM.
• Street Closure: Walden Street will be closed off to traffic.
• Attractions: There will be a large beer garden, food trucks, and a DJ.

Is the race sanctioned and timed?

• Sanctioned: The 5K is USA Track and Field sanctioned.
• Timing: Timed by RaceWire.

Parking

• Location: Parking will be available at Danehy Park.

Number Pick-up

• Schedule: Registration and number and shirt pick-up will be available Thursday, September 25 from 6pm - 9pm; Friday, September 26 from 4p-7p; and Saturday, September 27 from 12p-4p.
• Race Day Sign Ups: Sign-ups will be available on race morning, September 27, from 8am - 9:30am.

T Shirts

• Guarantee: All Participants registered before September 5 will be guaranteed to receive a shirt.

Registration Fee

• Early Registration: $40 through July 31, 2025 - includes a free gift!
• Age Discount: $30 for ages 17 and under.
• Final Registration: $40 through September 26, 2025, $30 for ages 17 and under.
• Race Day: $45 on Race Day - September 27, 2025; $35 on Race Day for ages 17 and under.

ONLINE REGISTRATION

• Deadline: Online registration ends on Wednesday, September 23 at midnight.
• On-Site Registration: Sign-ups will be held at Paddy's on Thursday, September 24 from 6pm - 9pm and Friday, September 25 from 4p-7p.
• Final Sign Up: Saturday, September 26 from 12p-4p and also on race day from 8:00a - 9:30a.
