Event Overview
Step Up for Mental Health - with Cameco as presenting sponsor - returns Sept. 26-27, 2026, in Saskatoon.
Distances/Courses
We are offering several distance options and challenges this year for runners and walkers in downtown Saskatoon (all options also available for virtual participation):
- 21.1KM (half-marathon): Saturday, Sept. 26 8:30 a.m. (course limit 3.5 hours)
- Kids Dash: Sat. Sept. 26 Noon (12 & under, 2 blocks of Spadina Cres: separated into two heats based on age group: 8 & under and 12 & under)
- 5KM: Sunday, Sept. 27 8:30 a.m.
- 10KM: Sun. Sept. 27 10 a.m.
Additional challenges include:
- Saskatoon Challenge: 21.1KM on Sept. 26 PLUS 5KM on Sept. 27
- Saskatchewan Challenge: 21.1KM on Sept. 26 PLUS 10KM on Sept. 27
- Paris of the Prairie Challenge: 21.1KM PLUS 5KM PLUS 10KM
- Daily Double Challenge: 5KM PLUS 10KM on Sept. 27
- Kids Hero Challenge: Kids Dash on Sept. 26 PLUS 5K on Sept. 27
Note: All challenges come with a special SECOND medal. Only 100 spots in each challenge.
All net proceeds will be directed to mental health support programs in Saskatchewan.
Early-Bird Pricing
Special pricing (plus tax/fee) is available until June 5th at 11:59 p.m.:
- $25 for Kids Dash
- $32.50 for Youth in the 5KM or 10KM (ages 5-15)
- $59.50 for the 5KM or 10KM
- $79 for 21.1KM
Challenge prices:
- $49 for Kids Hero Challenge
- $79 Daily Double Challenge
- $99 for the Saskatoon Challenge or Saskatchewan Challenge
- $109 for the Paris of the Prairies Challenge
Swag
As always, we are offering great swag. All participants receive the following with their registration fee: a black bunny hug, custom medal, race bib. Virtual participants will receive their swag package in the mail at NO additional charge in September.
Challenge swag: All challenges come with a SECOND amazing medal.
To raise more money for mental-health programs, we are offering a New Balance tech t-shirt for purchase in the registration portal. It is just $39 with $10 of every shirt being donated.
If you purchase a t-shirt and are participating in-person, you can pick-up your shirt at the expo on event weekend. If you purchase a t-shirt and are participating virtually, it will be mailed to you at NO additional charge in September.
Registration Options
We’re again offering an in-person and virtual option but please note that virtual registration will be limited to the first 800 registrants.
Training for Step Up
There will be an option in the registration portal to join the OnTrack Training Program courtesy Craven SPORT Services.
Expo/Package Pick-Up
Friday, Sept. 25 and Saturday, Sept. 26 at TCU Place. There is NO package pick-up available on Sept. 27.
Host Hotels
The Delta Marriott, which is steps from the start line, and the Holiday Inn Downtown (across the street from the expo) are the host hotels. IF you want special room rate information, there is a box to check in the registration portal.
