Annual Glen Doherty Memorial 5K/10K

General Info

• Event: The Annual Glen Doherty Memorial 5K/10K Road Race will take place again this September - we're hosting this race to support our GDMF Scholars and honor hometown hero Glen Doherty!
• Proceeds: Proceeds from this event go towards our Scholarship Fund so we can support our Special Operations Community to get the education or professional training they need to transition to new careers.
• Participation: You can run, walk or ruck! Join a team or start a new one!
• T-shirts: Race t-shirts are FREE to the first 500 in-person registered participants and available for purchase for others during bib pick up times. Other merchandise available for purchase as well.

Registration Pricing (Walk, Run or Ruck)

• Early Bird: Registration through July 10: $35 for Adults | $25 for Kids (under 18)
• Standard Registration: Registration through September 18 at 8PM: $45 for Adults | $25 for Kids (under 18)
• Race Weekend: $55 for Adults | $25 for Kids (under 18)
• Note: Registration Race Weekend is online! Assistance and computers will be available both Saturday and Sunday if you would like to register in person.

Virtual Race

• Return: We are bringing back a virtual run for 2026!
• Pricing: Pricing is the same as above, BUT you must register by end of day, September 9th in order for us to ship you your bib!
• Shirts: Sorry, no race shirts available, but please check out our online store for other options!
• Deadline: Ensure to register by the specified date for virtual participation!

Bib Pickup/In Person Registration

• Date: Saturday, September 19
• Time: 12pm to 2pm
• Location: Winchester Town Hall (71 Mt. Vernon St. Winchester, MA)
• Event Date: Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 109 Skillings Rd, Winchester, MA.

• T-Shirt and Merchandise Pickup: Sunday, September 20, 9:30am to 11am at Jenks Center Parking Lot (109 Skillings Rd, Winchester, MA)
