Lake Powell, named after famed explorer John Wesley Powell, is a large, man-made reservoir in the United States. Over 2 million people visit the area each year to play on the lake as well as visit its adjacent natural attractions including Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, and the Grand Canyon.
