Important Details
Here are a few points you need to keep in mind before registering for the Last Chance Mile:
- Restroom Availability: There are NO restrooms available within the park.
- Staffing Notice: Lakeshore Park is not staffed daily in the off season.
- Weather Policy: In the event of very bad weather on race morning, we may have to make the tough call of cancelling the event for safety.
- Reschedule Plan: If we cancel, we will attempt to reschedule to January 4, 2026, or transfer participants to a virtual event. No refunds.
Weather Considerations
With all this being said, we live in Northeast Ohio, it snows. If we only get a few inches of fresh snow fall with no widespread surface icing, we fully intend to move forward with the event.
