Lemon Run Overview

Our Annual Lemon Run is back at Goleta Beach Park! Join us on September 20 at beautiful Goleta Beach for a day of fun, fitness, and community spirit. Let's run together to support education in our community! 🏃‍♂️🍋

Race Details

• Date: September 20, 2026
• Location: 5986 Sandspit Rd, Goleta, CA
• Races Available: Competitive 5K (Jr. Grand Prix), 10K (Grand Prix), and 1K Family Fun Run
• Who Can Join: Perfect for competitive runners and first-timers alike

Registration Information

Early bib pick-up will be on Saturday, 9/19 from 11 am-2 pm at Deckers Brand Showcase located at 6601 Hollister Ave. Late registration and packet pick-up will be at Goleta Beach Park Area D on Sunday 9/19, beginning at 7 am. Registration closes promptly 15 minutes before each race.

Route Maps

• 10K map: begins at 8:00AM
  • 10K Winner Prizes announced at 9AM
• 5K map: begins at 9:30AM
  • 5K Winner Prizes announced at 10AM
• 1K map: begins at 10:30AM

Participants will begin as a rolling start for each event. Strollers are allowed and families are welcome to run together. See registration information for differences in pricing for Adults and Kids.

Parking & Transportation

• Parking: Limited parking available at Goleta Beach, with additional parking at UCSB Parking Lot 10
• Plan Accordingly: The beach lot closes at 9:00 am
• Green Options: Strongly encouraged to use green transportation options
• Drop-off Area: Accessible in front of the Ellwood Restaurant parking lot

Transportation Options

1. Bike: Ride your bike - Bike Valet available with Move SB.
2. Carpool: Carpool with family and friends from your neighborhood - additional carpool parking is available at Deckers Brand Showcase located at 6601 Hollister Avenue.
3. Drop-off: Drop-off area is accessible in front of the Ellwood Restaurant parking lot.

Don’t forget your Lemon Run swag! Pre-order your Race T-shirts by 8/31 to ensure you get your size. We have Adult and Youth sizes S/M/L/XL.
