Race Overview

5K race: Sept. 13, 2026 at 9 AM.

Followed by: a 2 mile walk at your leisure - 10:30 AM.

Start & finish line: American Legion Blanchard-Currey Post 1040, 16 W Poplar Dr, Delmar, NY 12054.

Registration Details

Sign Up: by August 13th on RUNforVets.com or in person at Bethlehem Memorial Post, 404 Delaware Ave. Delmar, NY 12054.

Early registration fee: $40 Now - August 13th includes assured custom sized commemorative shirt. Registration is open through the morning of the race as well as on site at the event.

Shirt and Participation Information

T-shirts: Participants and sponsors will receive a t-shirt with their registration/contribution. Please register prior to September 13th, 2026 to receive your t-shirt.

Guarantee: Tee Shirts guaranteed to the 1st 300 entries for both events combined - Pre-registration required.

Pickup: You may also pick up on Sunday the day of the event from 7:30 to 8:30 am.

Course Guidelines

Restrictions: No strollers, bicycles, skates, or animals allowed in the race. The use of headphones during the race is strongly discouraged. This course is open and used by other walkers, runners, cyclists making it important that each participant be aware of their surroundings.

Course note: This is a narrow course on the rail trail portion - especially at the beginning - participants will need to be cautious. Strollers allowed for the walking portion of the event. Thank you for helping keep this a safe and fun community event.
