Race Description

• Scenery: These races feature classic fall New England scenery.
• Course: You will run through some of the prettiest roads in Fairfield County.
• Route: The race starts on East Ridge Road, with gradual climbs leading into a rolling course.
• Finish: Expect a fast downhill into downtown Ridgefield, finishing strong at the Boys and Girls Club.

Beneficiary

• Primary Benefactor: This race’s primary benefactor is the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield.
• Awards: The club is a national award-winning youth activity center.
• Programs: It offers programs in five core areas: The Arts, Character & Leadership, Education, Health & Life Skills, and Sports.
• Community Impact: It provides activities for school-aged children after school and during vacations.

Iris Fund Support

• Purpose: The 5K proudly supports The Iris Fund.
• Memorial: It was founded in loving memory of Iris Crystal Aleman.
• Mission: The fund is dedicated to ending the heartbreak of prematurity.
• Research: It fuels research into the triggers of labor and offers support for families facing high-risk pregnancies.
