• 5K Details: A flat, fast, 5k with chip timing.
• Certification: The course is certified (BC-2019-010-PTBA).
• Eligibility: Eligible for IRA 2026 points standing.
• Start Time: 8:00 am

Additional Races

• 1 Mile Race: Also certified for 2026 (BC-2022-019-PTBA).
• 1 Mile Start Time: 9:15 am
• Kids Fun Run: Untimed after the mile race by donation.
• Beneficiary: All proceeds go to the UBCO Heat cross country program.

Race Package Pickup

• Early Pickup: At Play Store (101-1950 Harvey Ave) on Saturday, September 5th, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
• Day of Race Pickup Location: Rail Trail near Leslie Pl and Dilworth Dr.
• 5000 Race Pickup: 7:00 am - 7:45 am
• Mile Race Pickup: 8:15 am - 9:00 am
