Race Details

• 5000 Cap: The 5000 will be capped at 200!
• Course Info: This is a flat, fast 5k with chip timing: the course is certified (BC-2019-010-PTBA).
• Eligibility: The 5k race will be eligible for IRA 2026 points standing.
• Start Time: 8:00 am for the 5k race.

1 Mile Race

• Start Time: 9:15 am for the mile race (BC-2022-019-PTBA).
• Additional Event: Untimed kids "fun run" after the mile race by donation.
• Proceeds: All 5k and mile proceeds and donations go to benefit the UBCO Heat cross country program!

Parking Information

• Where to Park: Parking is south of the start near Rusty’s Sports Lounge and surrounding lots.
• Day of Race Pickup Location: Rail Trail near Leslie Pl and Dilworth Dr, Kelowna BC.

Package Pickup

• Early Pickup: Saturday September 5th, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Play Store (101-1950 Harvey Ave).
• Day of Pickup: 5000 Race Package pickup from 7:00 am - 7:45 am, Mile Race Package pickup from 8:15 am - 9:00 am.
• Registration Closure: Closes September 5th, 2026 @ 6 pm.

Final Notes

• Note: The 5000 will be capped at 200!
