Light Up the Sky 5K Run/Walk

🎉 Race Overview

The Light up the Sky 5K Run/Walk will be returning this year for its 9th year! Join the fun on Sunday, May 25th. All net proceeds support the annual 4th of July fireworks held at the Presque Isle State Harbor.

🏃‍♂️ Event Details

• Fun Run for Kids: Starts at 9:00 a.m.
• 5K Run/Walk: Starts at 9:30 a.m.
• Location: Both events start at the New Presque Isle Lighthouse Park.
• Registration Fees: $20 through April 30th, $25 thereafter for the 5K: $10 for the kid fun run.

🏅 Awards and Merchandise

• Medals: First 100 finishers in the 5K will receive a medal: first 50 finishers in the kid fun run will receive a medal.
• T-Shirts: Special design t-shirts available for $10: must register and purchase by April 30th to guarantee a shirt.
• Availability: T-shirts are in limited supply - first come, first served.

📝 Registration Information

• Online Registration: Available through May 23, 2025 (the Friday before the race).
• Day of Race Registration: Participants can sign up between 8:30-9:20 a.m. (CASH ONLY).
• Packet Pick-Up: Available on race day between 8:30-9:20 a.m.
