Light Up the Sky 5K Run/Walk

Event Overview

The Light up the Sky 5K Run/Walk will be returning this year for its 10th year! Join the fun on Sunday, May 24th. All net proceeds support the annual 4th of July fireworks held at the Presque Isle State Harbor.

Race Details

• Date: May 24, 2026
• Location: 4500 E Grand Lake Road, Presque Isle, MI
• Kids Fun Run: 9:00 a.m.
• 5K Run/Walk Start: 9:30 a.m.

Registration Information

• Registration Fees: $20 for 5K through April 30th, $25 thereafter
• Kids Fun Run Fee: $10
• Medals: First 100 finishers in 5K and first 50 finishers in the fun run
• T-Shirts: Special design available for $15 (must register by April 30th)

Registration Process

• Online Registration: Available through May 22, 2026
• On-Site Registration: Available on race day from 8:30-9:20 a.m. (CASH ONLY)
• Packet Pick-Up: Available on race day from 8:30-9:20 a.m.
