Join us for the Spook-tacular 5th Annual Somerville Monster Dash 5k. The USATF certified 5k (3.1 mile) Monster Dash course takes place on the DCR walking, running & bike path: Course starts and finishes at Riverfront Park on Great River Road at Assembly Row Somerville MA, and follows along the Mystic River to the underpass boardwalk at Fellsway.

After clearing the boardwalk at .3 miles, the course loops the Mystic River along Shore Drive by the Blessing of the Bay Boathouse, then follows the paved path alongside Route 93N for a half mile, crosses the Mystic river alongside Rt. 16, then winds it’s way through Torbert Macdonald Park & the Mystic River State Reservation, before crossing back over the Mystic River, alongside the Fellsway, back to the underpass at 2.8 miles, and onto the finish line at Riverfront Park.
