This event exists to do two things: raise money to directly support a local family who has experienced the loss of a loved one to suicide, and start a conversation — especially among men — that too often doesn't happen until it's too late.
Significance
- 9.88 miles: One number worth remembering: 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
- Awareness: Every step, pedal, and mile is a reminder to check in on the people around you, and to let someone check in on you too.
