Have fun while running or walking a beautiful course and raise funds and awareness to eliminate hunger in our community.

📍 Race Info

• Course Details: The Harvest Classic offers a flat and fast course with scenic views of downtown and Lake Sacajawea.
• Certification: Both the 5K and 10K are USA Track & Field-certified courses.
• Fun Experience: If you don’t care about records, just come and have a good time.
• Interactive Learning: Participants can use the RaceJoy application to learn about the city’s history along the route.

📅 Event Details and Schedule

• Packet Pick-up: Friday, October 3, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at CAP Help Warehouse, or on race day from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. at Life Works, 906 New York Street, Longview.
• Race Day: Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Life Works, 906 New York Street, Longview, Washington.
• High School Challenge: 5 Kilometer Race at 8:20 AM. Teams sign up through Athletic.net.
• 5K & 10K Events: 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM for 5 Kilometer and 10 Kilometer Run/Walk.

👶 Pee Wee Fun Run

• Time: 9:30 AM for a ¼ Mile Fun Run. Free for kids ages 9 and under.
• Activities: The Child & Adolescent Clinic will have games and activities for the kids starting at 8:30 AM.
• Sponsorship: The Child & Adolescent Clinic is the exclusive sponsor and event organizer for the Pee Wee Fun Run.
• Parking: There is plenty of parking nearby.

🏞️ Race Course

The Harvest Classic begins at the Life Works building at 906 New York Street in Longview. The course is flat and fast with scenic views of downtown and Lake Sacajawea.

• 5K Course: View Route

⏱️ Timing Equipment

• Timing System: Athletic Timing uses Lynx timing equipment with RFID antennas.
• Chips: Disposable chips are fastened to the back of your racing bib and do not need to be returned.
• Wear Your Bib: To maximize chip reads, wear your bib on the upper chest.

🌤️ Weather

Weather is usually mild. Race time temperatures are likely to range from the low 40s to mid 50s.
