Salamander Racing invites you to Races #4 and #5 of the 2026 Utah Gravity Series at Pomerelle, IDAHO.

Race Schedule
- Saturday, August 1: 1-Run competition on the “Blaze” course, starting at 1:30 p.m.
- Sunday, August 2: 1-Run competition on the “Pounder” course, starting at 11 a.m.
- Start Times: Will be posted each day at the base of the chair lift.
- Categories: Includes Pro and Cat classifications for all skill levels.
Course Details
- Saturday Course: “Blaze” - wildflower fields, high-speed descent.
- Sunday Course: “Pounder” - rough and steep terrain.
- Cat 3 Class: Less technical course for beginners.
- Race Format: Each day features a 1-run format with 1-minute intervals.
Awards and Raffles
- Award Ceremony: Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday ASAP after the race.
- Championships: Sunday’s ceremony will award Utah Gravity Series Champions.
- Medals: Distributed during each day’s award ceremony.
- Raffle Prizes: Available at each award event.
Practice & Lift Ride Information
- Inspection: Courses will be open for inspection starting Saturday morning.
- Lift Fees: $35 per day, $55 for a weekend pass.
- Special Deal: Friday lift available from 3 to 6 p.m. for $65.
- Advance Purchase: Required for participating in lift rides.
Parking/Camping Information
- Parking: Plentiful parking at the resort, camping allowed in designated lots.
- Campsite Options: Lower lot for activity, upper lot for tranquility.
- Lodging: Nearest lodging is about 35 miles away: plan for camping.
- Fires: Be aware of fire restrictions and pack out all garbage.
Registration Information
- Mail Registration: Complete form and send to Salamander Racing by July 25, 2026.
- Fees: $90 per race early registration: on-site $95.
- Online Registration: Available at BikeReg.com.
- No Sunday Registration: Registration closes on Saturday: no exceptions.
USA Cycling Race Memberships
- Membership Fee: $40 online, $50 at the event.
- License Prices: Free for ages 6-18: $35-$80 for 19+.
- 1-Day Licenses: Available for $15/day for Novice racers.
- Cash or Check Only: For on-site registration and purchases.

Location
Pomerelle Resort is located in the South East part of Idaho. Take I-84 to the Albion Exit, just East of Burley and follow the signs up to beautiful Pomerelle Resort.

Downhill classes include Pro Men, Pro Women, and various Cat 1, Cat 2, and Cat 3 categories for both men and women across different age brackets.
Event Regulations
You must wear an approved helmet while riding at this event. The event is held under USA Cycling Event Permit.
