Event Overview

• Hosts: Amanda and David Sheek invite you to Mammoth Lakes, the gateway to mountain adventure.
• Date: The fifth annual Mammoth TUFF will take place September 19, 2026.
• Distance Options: Offers three distances: short, medium, and long courses.
• Course Highlights: Long course travels through the Volcanic Tableland formed by an ancient eruption.

Event Details

• Festival: A gravel event and adventure festival to challenge the toughest of riders.
• Location: Hosted by the Village at Mammoth Lakes.

Race Policies

• Refund Policy: No refunds except in case of event cancellation due to adverse conditions.
• Transfers: Participants can transfer their registration for a $10 surcharge.
• Insurance: BikeReg offers Allianz Registration Protection for participants.
• Recommendation: We recommend purchasing insurance for your protection.

Course Information

• Route Release: Final routes will be released on the week of the event (~Sept 14).
• Self-Sufficiency: Sufficient supplies and support at aid stations will be provided.
• Course Marking: Courses will be marked, but navigation is encouraged.
• Previous Success: Expect similar routes to the successful ‘25 routes.

UCI Gravel World Series Details

• Categories: UCI Gravel World Championship qualifier categories will be noted.
• Age Groups: Defined by the rider’s age on December 31, 2026.
• License: Elite category riders must hold a UCI license.
• Qualification Rights: Top 3 finishers of each category qualify for UCI Gravel World Championships.

Adaptive TUFF

• Para Categories: Available for the Short course.
• Official Route: Adaptive TUFF distance will continue as an official route.
• Registration: Select Para Hand Cycle or Para Traditional Cycle during registration.

Additional Information

• Shirt Guarantee: Registrations before July 14, 2026 at 11pm PST are guaranteed a free shirt.
• Merchandise: Registrations after July 14 will have the option to purchase limited inventory.
