Cotton Patch Challenge Road Rally & Gravel Grinder 2026

COTTON PATCH CHALLENGE

Established in 1996, the Greenville Texas Rotary's Cotton Patch Challenge is ready to roll out for our 30th Anniversary Bike Ride! Coming on September 19th, 2026, you can look forward to great biking and lots of family friendly events after your ride. Come ride on our open roads and then stay in downtown Greenville to enjoy some of our old & new restaurants and shopping. We will also have even more free items from local businesses (items added on the website as we receive them.) Stay Saturday evening to enjoy the Lee St. Jamboree with live music and vendors lining the streets!

What to Expect

• Check-in: starts at 6:00 am on the 20th at Landon Winery.
• Start Times: All rides start at 7:30 am with 2 minute staggered start times for each distance.
• Support for Charity: Options to buy a Tech Shirt and to add a donation. All profits go to charity administered by The Rotary Club of Greenville.
• Scenic Route: Long riders will enjoy the 2 mile bridge over Lake Tawakoni on the 61, 76, and 100 mile rides.

Terrain and Support

• Experience: Experience the wonderful Texas country-side and scenery while you ride, not just city slicker roads. Yes, out here we have some chip seal to conquer. That's the country experience. Embrace it.
• SAG Assistance: All SAG trucks will come equipped with air pumps. You asked for them, we'll have them, so if you run out of CO2, no worries. Pumps at rest stops also.
• Streamlined Check-in: Streamlined check-in process with BikeReg via QR code.
• No Stress: No stress with timed rides. This is a leisure ride. Come and just enjoy. Go as fast or slow as you like.

Post-Ride and Local Activities

• SAG Closing: SAG support closes at 2pm. Not back? We'll find you and give you a lift.

Race Details

• Distances: Road Rally distances of 6, 12, 21, 35, 46, 61, 76, 100 miles and Gravel Grinder distance of 31, 42, & 57 miles.
• Parking: Free parking all over downtown Greenville. Maps provided on the website cottonpatchchallenge.com.
• Safety Gear: Helmets required.
• Rest Stops: Fully stocked rest stops all along your ride.

• Gathering Space: Plenty of room to gather post ride with others and share your experience with friends.
• Dining Options: Numerous restaurants within walking distance of the ride start and end.
