Race Packet Pickup
- Requirement: All participants MUST pick up their race packets prior to the race on Saturday or Sunday. You can have a teammate or friend pickup your packet for you. Packets will not be mailed.
- Pre-Race Pickup: Friday August 28 (For both Saturday/Sunday events. Friday is the ONLY day for Packet pick up).
- Pickup Sessions: 1st Session (11:00 am to 1:00 pm) and 2nd Session (5:00 pm to 7:00 pm)
- Location: Fleet Feet - 127 W Loveland Ave, Loveland, OH 45140
Race Day Information
- No Race Day Packet Pickup: There will be no Race Day Packet Pickup for either the Saturday or Sunday event.
- Wave Assignments: When you register, you can select your wave assignment.
- Partner Registration: If you enter yourself and your partner waits too long you may get bumped to another wave. To ensure you are in the same wave, enter at the same time.
- Competition Format: You may compete as a two person team (using a tandem kayak) or individually (using a single kayak).
Age Requirements
- Team Minimum Age: The minimum age for competing on a team is 10 years old.
- Individual Minimum Age: The minimum age for competing individually is 16 years old.
Registration Fees
- Saturday: $185/Team, $105/Individual
- Sunday: $175/Team, $95/Individual
Race Timing
- Start Time: The race will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a staggered start.
- Kayaker Departure: The first bus of kayakers will leave at 7:45 am sharp.
- Transition Location: Race will begin and end with all transitions at Loveland Canoe & Kayak (Karl Brown Way).
- Bussing: All participants will be bused to start line.
Race Divisions
- Participants: Team (16+), Parent/Child Team (10+), Male (16+), Female (16+)
- Event T-Shirts: Event t-shirts will be available for purchase for $25 each until August 1.
Equipment and Safety Rules
- Provided Gear: Kayaks, life jackets, and paddles will be provided.
- Participant Gear: Participants are to provide their own bicycle.
- Safety Requirements: Life jackets must be worn at all times while on the water. Bike helmets must be worn at all times while on your bike. No headphones are allowed during any portion of the race.
- Compliance: Failure to comply with the safety rules will subject contestants to disqualification.
Additional Information
- ID Requirement: A photo ID is required and waiver must be signed and submitted in order to receive your race packet and bib/timing chip.
- Weather Policy: This is a rain or shine event and there are NO refunds. In the event of severe weather the start may be delayed and the course may be altered for safety reasons.
- Participant Respect: Please respect your fellow participants. There will be all types of skill levels competing, so please stay aware of your surroundings at all times.
