Welcome to TXTRI - Canyon Park - Powered by WORD of Comal County.

TXTRI has a history at Canyon Park with an Olympic Distance Triathlon (circa 2005-2014) and hosted one of the first Dual Draft-Legal races between Canada and USA youth. We are excited to bring triathlon and other activities to this beautiful venue. The Texas Hill Country has a long history with triathlon and breathtaking challenging courses.

For 2026, we will be bringing you two distances to choose from:

  • Course Type: A closed looped sprint course all inside the park, without traffic, simpler and safer course.
  • Distance Options: An Olympic/Intermediate distance triathlon, outside the park over Devils Backbone, Purgatory Rd and two river crossings.
