Event Overview

Join us summer 2027 under the lights at Lloyd Schneider Stadium for the Spartan Summer Showcase - a night of one-mile racing built around McFarland's rich distance-running tradition. From community runners to elite milers, the Showcase brings together athletes of all levels for fast times, electric energy, and a championship atmosphere.

Athlete Divisions

• Middle School: Dedicated division for young athletes.
• High School: Competitive races for high school runners.
• Wheelchair: Inclusive races for wheelchair athletes.
• Elite: Separate Women’s and Men’s Elite Miles to close out the night.

Purpose of the Race

• Personal Best: A chance to chase your personal record.
• Cross Country Prep: Sharpen your skills ahead of the season.
• Return to Racing: Perfect for runners participating in their first race in years.
• Inclusive Atmosphere: A welcoming space for all levels of runners.
