Event Overview

Join the fun Sunday, May 3, 2026. Gather with your friends, neighbors, and family for a run or walk featuring beautiful Candler Park neighborhood streets and the Freedom Park Path. All proceeds from the event benefit the Mary Lin Elementary PTA.

• Location: Mary Lin Elementary School (586 Candler Park Dr NE Atlanta, GA 30307)

Course Information

• Course Time Limit: 5K - 59 minutes (19 minute/mile pace)
• Fun Run Time Limit: 30 minutes (30 minutes/mile)
• Age Guidelines: 5K participants under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult while on the course
• Pet Policy: Pets are not allowed on the course at any time

Event Details

• Shirts: Limited Edition 2026 Rocket Run Shirts available to participants who register prior to April 17th (T-shirt availability and sizing are not guaranteed for participants registering after April 17th)
• Family Friendly: Start time - 5K - 8:00 AM, 1 Mile - 9:00 AM
• Participants: Runners, Walkers, and Strollers welcome
• Qualification: AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifier

• 7:00 AM: Race Day Number Pick-Up & Registration opens
• 8:45 AM: Race Day Number Pick-up & Registration closes
• 8:00 AM: Rocket Run 5K start
• 9:00 AM: 1 Mile Fun Run start
• 9:30 AM: 5K Awards
