Time: 5K - 8:00 AM | 1 Mile Fun Run - 9:00 AM

Join the fun Sunday, May 18, 2025. Gather with your friends, neighbors, and family for a run or walk featuring beautiful Candler Park neighborhood streets and the Freedom Park Path. All proceeds from the event benefit the Mary Lin Elementary PTA.

📍 Start/Finish Location

• Location: The 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run start and finish at Mary Lin Elementary School (586 Candler Park Dr NE Atlanta, GA 30307).

🗺️ Course Information

Course time limit:

• 5K: 59 minutes (19 minute/mile pace)
• Fun Run: 30 minutes (30 minutes/mile)

5K Age Guidelines:

• Accompaniment: 5K participants under the age of 8 must be accompanied by parent or other responsible adult while on the course.

Pets: PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE COURSE AT ANY TIME

🎽 Event Details

• T-shirts: Limited Edition 2025 Rocket Run Shirts available to participants who register prior to April 18th (T-shirt availability and sizing are not guaranteed for participants registering after April 29th.)
• Family Friendly: Family friendly start time - 5K - 8:00 AM, 1 Mile - 9:00 AM
• Participants: Runners, Walkers, and Strollers welcome
• Qualification: AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifier

• 7:00 AM: Race Day Number Pick-Up & Registration opens
• 8:45 AM: Race Day Number Pick-up & Registration closes
• 8:00 AM: Rocket Run 5K start
• 9:00 AM: 1 Mile Fun Run start
• 9:30 AM: 5K Awards
