Food + Farm: The Masher Fun Run

Event Overview

Lace up your running (or walking!) shoes and join us for The Masher Fun Run on Saturday, October 17! Whether you're chasing a personal best or enjoying a leisurely walk with family and friends, every step supports hands-on agricultural education at Food + Farm Exploration Center. After crossing the finish line, stick around for our National Mashed Potato Day Celebration featuring interactive activities, a mashed potato bar, and plenty of potato-themed fun!

Mission and Purpose

Agriculture touches every meal, every family, and every community. The Masher Fun Run brings our community together to celebrate Wisconsin agriculture, promote healthy living, and help ensure future generations understand where their food comes from, the people and innovation behind how it's grown, and why a strong agricultural industry is essential to Wisconsin's economy, communities, and future.

Event Details

• Date: October 17, 2026
• Location: 3400 Innovation Drive, Plover, WI
• Packet Pickup: Saturday, October 17th from 8:00-9:45 am
• T-shirts: Please be aware, t-shirts are not guaranteed after 9/26/26.

Race Information

The race begins at 10:00 a.m. at Food + Farm Exploration Center and follows a route to Lake Pacawa Park, where participants will complete three scenic laps around the lake before returning to Food + Farm Exploration Center. Run will happen rain or shine.

• Shorter Distance: Participants are welcome to complete a shorter distance if they prefer.
• Strollers: Strollers are welcome, but please no wagons.
• Pets: We request that you keep your furry friends at home.
