The NJ Halloween Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K

Event Overview

Get your running costume on and run with the ghosts!!! A chip-timed race through beautiful Overpeck Park, Bergan County, on a mostly flat and paved surface with few turns and long straightaways that provide you with incredible views and a lake over a 3.27 mile loop that the HALF MARATHON athletes will complete 4 times and a 3.1 mile loop that 10K athletes will complete 2 times and 5K athletes will complete once....for maximum fan support!

Course Details

• Half Marathon: 4 loops
• 10K: 2 loops
• 5K: 1 loop

Support Stations

• Water Stations: every 1.5 - 2 miles along the course
• Beverages: Water and Gatorade available
• Nutrition: Electrolyte gels offered

Timing

• Live Timing: Split times provided per loop
• Real-Time Updates: Multiple splits for fans

Post-Race Activities

• Finisher's Perks: Unique runner's jersey and medal
• Food: Bountiful morning grub available
• Awards Ceremony: Celebrate in costume or not

Event Timing

• Start Time: 9:00 AM for Half Marathon
• 10K Start: 9:05 AM
• 5K Start: 9:10 AM

Packet Pick-up

• Time: 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM
• ID Requirement: Bring a picture I.D.
• Bib: You'll receive a bib with a timing chip attached

Baggage Check-in

• Time: 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM
• Tag: Your bib will have a tear-off tag for your personal bag
• Retrieval: Show matching bib to get your bag back

Awards Ceremony

Awards Ceremony for each distance starts promptly: do not leave without your award! Your outcome is sent by text.

Remember, there are no transfers, no credits, no refunds. Race Directors reserve the right to change the date, modify or cancel the race. Only in this case may you transfer your entry to another event.
