Mid-South Races for Hope (Mid-South Marathon, Half-Marathon and 5K)

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Mid-South Races for Hope, formerly known as the Mid-South Marathon, is back for year 26 and we want you to join us!

🌳 Community Experience

• Refreshing Escape: The people of Cross County have always offered runners and walkers a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of corporate America.
• Scenic Route: Enjoy a slice of rural American country running and take in the vibrant fall colors of Crowley's Ridge.
• Community Resilience: While we are still recovering from the March 31, 2023 tornado, our community is building back and moving ahead.

🏅 Race Details

• Course Information: Our races are out and back races that wind through part of the historic district and continue out along the ridge through fields ripe for harvest.
• Location: The start and finish lines will be at Wynne Baptist Church.
• Certification: Our race is certified and is a Boston Marathon qualifying race.
• Aid Stations: We will have aid stations approximately every mile, and port-o-potties are also located near each station!

🍽️ Post-Race Celebration

Each aid station will be supplied with Vaseline, Gatorade, fruit, snacks, and smiles. At the finish line, we will serve the traditional championship BBQ plate supper for all finishers and their families. Come run in the country and let us show you some small-town southern hospitality.

🍝 Pasta Specials

In lieu of a pasta dinner, we will work with locally owned restaurants to create pasta specials for the marathon weekend. More information to come.
