CJ Williams Memorial 5K Run/Walk

Clarence "C.J." Williams died in the line of duty on January 28, 2023. C.J. was known for mentoring youth in our community. To honor his memory and continue his legacy, his mother established the C.J. Williams Memorial Scholarship for graduating seniors in Grady County who wish to pursue a career in law enforcement.

• Onsite Registration: Begins at 8 A.M.
• Start Time: 9 A.M.

Registration

Pre-registration closes Tuesday, September 8th, 2026

• $25: Pre-registration (includes T-shirt)
• $35: Onsite Registration

Sign up before September 8th, 2026 to guarantee a T-shirt. Please specify your size upon registration. T-shirts may be available for purchase on the day of the event while supplies last for $20.

Awards

Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers and top-three age group winners.

Refreshments

• Free water
• Cairo Nutrition: will be giving away Refreshers (drinks with electrolytes)

Beneficiary

All proceeds benefit the C.J. Williams Memorial Scholarship, awarded annually to Grady County high school seniors committed to pursuing a career in law enforcement.
